21st march 09

Hey its charl here, today we just stayed in the park all day as it was too hot 33 degrees apparantly! we got the usual lunch from the market and read our books we brought from a cheap bookshopon the 1st day. we have a new hostel roomate called Gabriel (what?!?) haha hes a rite wierdo bout 60 with a tango tan he had a spaz this mornin when patrick sat on his bed (so wierd). oh well only 2 more nites to put up wiv him until st kilda. the two german girls are leaving 2nite at 4am (the joys!) this evening there was sum sort of greek festival goin on in the middle of the city (well random) we had a lamb kebab from one of the stalls was well nice!

22nd march 09

This morning we did sum laundry then we went to see KATIE!!!! wooo! was so wierd us all being here in melbourne. we met her in federation square for a drink then went to her house in st kilda which is actually a shed! so funny like being a student agen! we hung out wiv her mates and went the bottle shop (as its called here! not off licence) and chilled all afternoon and got the tram bk to the city later in the evening. she told us how to use the trams in melbourne wivout payin which was useful as it gets quite expensive! we arrived bk to the hostel to a full room of germans gabbing away!

23rd march 09

Sadly wasnt the end of gabriel last nite and we ended up listening to him snoring for hours until i finally got off (well literally fell out) of my bunk and yelled (he was snorin that loud!) to SHUT UP!!!! worked for a couple of hrs at least! we checked out and got the tram down to st kilda which is by the sea! yeh! checked into the ritz for backpackers which is a wierd sort of place! its rite next to the racetrack and after we had dropped our stuff off we walked round the whole circuit which took ages my legs were killin me!!! in the afternoon we sat on the beach the sun was out but it was really windy so even though it felt a bit chilly we burnt a bit! we got bk to the hostel, spoke to a few ppl in our room. theres 10 ppl inc us most of them are long term and workin. we went for a $10 steak at nite which was yum!

24th march 09

Today we went to safeway to get supplies for breakfast and evening meals, ended up wiv cheerios and pasta and tomato sauce for the week! how exciting! in the afternoon f1 ppl emailed us so we went down to the track and picked up our v v attractive white overalls and hats! wooo! we got a keyring, programme and 2 free guest passes each! happy days! chilled in the evening watched the simpsons and had sum free wine and cheese!

25th march 09

What a profitable day! we have sold all of our guest passes for $380 nearly 200 pounds! that will cum in very useful!!! Pure profit as they were free! we took a trip to the beach today and walked along the pier and saw loadsa jellyfish! gross! its been bit cloudy today but still warm. wen we got to the rocks at the end we saw a sleeping penguin sooo cute! We brought a beer and sat in the park this afternoon cause the sun came out. This evening we have been bk and saw another one on a rock and sum gross sea rat things which swim in the water!
